Sunset

from Planet 9 by Fusíon

about

The original 'doodle' for Sunset was over 10 minutes in length. Although the song is shorter than that it kept its original vision of a 'theme to a dream' of returning to earth and seeing trees and beaches and the sun and relaxing into the evening there.

Sunset is used as the opening to the last part of the album (voyage home), but is not called Sunrise (as in 'starting') on purpose as I wanted the feel of going on "into the darkness" to come out of the song.

One of my faves off the album and a few others too. I also like to think of this song as a musical cousin to Make You Follow (including the barrage of noises within it!)
