Route 66

The final piece in the Planet 9 jigsaw. Route 66 was the last track to be completed for the album and at the time I thought it was my magnum opus.

Looking back, it probably was for the Fusíon era.

The main lead sample was only days old in my hands and I realised I could build a song around it. One downfall was always the bass drum. I always thought it had too much bass, but others have re-assured me it's quite fine and the song is flawless from start to finish for a work of mine.

The song's title refers to the route home being familiar as you have taken it before and it's views can be amazing.
